About Us

The Mulberry Bush Day Nursery is situated in the village of Metheringham, and offers full day care to children aged between six weeks and twelve years.

The Mulberry Bush aims to offer a friendly, family orientated day care facility. The Mulberry Bush is open  Monday to Friday from 07.15 till 6pm. We are closed on Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period, no fees are payable during these periods of closure.

At the Mulberry Bush Day Nursery we aim to  work towards the High Scope approach to educating young children. We follow this by ensuring Active Learning is a key component to our children's care. "Through active learning - having direct and immediate experiences and deriving meaning from them through reflection- young children construct knowledge that helps them make sense of their world"
